• Advance Deposit - The Greystone Inn accepts Visa and MasterCard.  An advance deposit equal to one-half of total tariff charges will be applied to your credit card.  Guests attempting to secure a reservation using a gift certificate will need to call 1-800-824-5766 for additional assistance.
• Cancellation - Cancellations more than 15 days prior to arrival will be refunded less a $50.00 processing fee.  Cancellations less than 15 days prior to arrival will result in a forfeiture of the entire deposit.  Upon arrival, you are responsible for the entire amount of your stay (deposit plus remaining amount due.)
• Service Charge & Taxes - A service charge of 17 percent is automatically added to your portfolio and is in lieu of all gratuities during your stay.  North Carolina state sales tax is 7.75 percent.  Transylvania County occupancy tax is 4 percent.
• Children’s Charges - On-line reservation charges for children are calculated at $0.00/night and will be adjusted on arrival on the following daily tariff scale:  0-3 years free; 4-6 years $60.00++; 7-10 years $90.00++; 11 and older $120.00++.
• Two-night Weekend Requirement - Weekends (Friday & Saturday nights) may not be split.
• Holidays - Certain holidays may have additional requirements.  It is recommended to make these arrangements directly through our reservations staff.
• Amenities & Services - Advance reservations are recommended for most amenities and services.  Please call for assistance.

The Greystone Inn is open 7-dates a week April through November.  The inn is open weekends (Friday and Saturday) December through March.

Mansion Rooms
Our historic Mansion, built in 1915, offers 19 guest rooms.  Nearly two decades of careful attention to selecting just the right antiques, reproductions, and appointments has produced a collection of distinct rooms in varying sizes, including the award-winning Presidential Suite.  Some of the rooms feature porches, fireplaces, and/or stunning lake or mountain views.

Hillmont Rooms
Added in 1988, Hillmont features 12 luxurious rooms, each including private porches overlooking the lake and mountains, gas fireplaces, and spacious bathrooms with oversized Jacuzzis.  This three story structure is ideally located on the shores of Lake Toxaway and is just steps away from the Mansion and Lakeside Dining Room.

The four rooms on the upper floor of Hillmont, with their cathedral ceilings and premium views, are among the most prized at the inn.

Lakeside Suites
Our two Lakeside Suites provide a spacious living area with a queen-sized sleeper sofa, as well as a separate alcove with a king-sized bed.They also include private screened porches overlooking Lake Toxaway, gas fireplaces, and large bathrooms. Just to tempt you, the Sothys Signature Spa is located on the lakeside level just beneath the Lakeside Suites.
