Built in 1902, in the peaceful Historic District of San Marcos, The Viola Street Inn is an architectural delight offering three luxurious upstairs suites, each with private bathroom and beautiful view of ornate garden areas, patios and stone terraces. The Victorian Secret features a romantic king-size brass bed and full bath, complete with two person Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower; Homespun, sleeps up to 4 in two antique full-size beds, also with over-sized Jacuzzi tub; and Reflections, with a fairy tale queen-size canopy bed and private bathroom with walk-in shower.
The Viola Street Inn has been lovingly restored in traditional Texas Folk Victorian Style, by owners Kerry Lee and Anthony Rash, both native Texans and Texas State (Texas State) graduates, who fell in love with San Marcos (Tour San Marcos) while attending school in the 1970’s, and knew this was where they wanted to raise their family. They are happy to provide a welcoming home base for families of TSU students and can help parents and students find solutions to questions they might have during their stay in San Marcos.
